Nordic Walking,
reimagined for everyday life.
Urban Poling is a form of Nordic Walking adapted for urban environments. Using specially designed ergonomic poles, the technique engages up to 90% of the body's muscles with every stride, turning a regular walk into a low-impact, full-body cardiovascular workout.
Unlike regular walking, the poles engage the upper body, reduce load on the knees and hips, and naturally encourage better posture and gait mechanics. It's suitable for virtually any age or fitness level and is particularly beneficial for older adults, those in cardiac or post-surgical rehabilitation, and anyone looking for a more effective, enjoyable way to move.
Jenna is a certified Urban Poling Instructor and leads both group classes and private sessions in Regina. Poles can be borrowed for group classes or you can bring your own.
