Fascia Stretch Therapy session — Christy assisting a client with an assisted stretch in Regina

More than stretching,
a system for the whole body.

Fascia Stretch Therapy™ (FST) is a table-based, assisted stretching method developed by Ann and Chris Frederick. Unlike traditional stretching, FST targets the entire fascial system, the connective tissue network that surrounds, supports, and connects every muscle, joint, and organ in the body.

Using gentle traction, oscillation, and rhythmic movement, your practitioner guides your body through specific stretches that release restrictions throughout the full myofascial chain, not just a tight muscle, but the entire line of tension it belongs to.

Sessions are performed on a treatment table with straps to stabilize the body. You wear comfortable clothing and simply relax while the practitioner does the work, guiding your limbs and torso through movements you couldn't access on your own.

What FST can do for you.

Increased Flexibility

Target the entire fascial network, not just individual muscles, for dramatic, lasting improvements in range of motion.

Pain Relief

Release deep fascial restrictions and joint compression that contribute to chronic pain and stiffness.

Improved Performance

Athletes and active individuals use FST to move more efficiently, recover faster, and prevent injury.

Better Posture

Address the whole-body tension patterns that contribute to poor posture and structural imbalances.

Stress Reduction

The gentle, rhythmic nature of FST activates the parasympathetic nervous system, leaving you deeply relaxed.

Enhanced Mobility

For older adults or those recovering from injury, FST restores the functional mobility needed for daily life.

Who benefits most.

  • Athletes looking to improve performance and recovery
  • People with chronic pain, stiffness, or limited mobility
  • Those recovering from injury or surgery
  • Anyone experiencing stress and tension held in the body
  • Older adults wanting to maintain functional independence
  • People who have "tried everything" for tightness

Fascia stretch therapy,
answered.

What is Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST)?
FST is a gentle, table-based method of assisted stretching that targets the fascia to improve flexibility, reduce pain, and restore range of motion.
How is FST different from stretching on my own?
Because it's assisted and works the whole fascial system, FST reaches restrictions you can't stretch on your own, all while you stay completely relaxed. Many people find the results come faster and last longer.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, flexible athletic clothing you can move in, similar to what you'd wear to a yoga class.
Who benefits from FST?
Anyone dealing with chronic tightness, reduced mobility, postural tension, or recovery from injury. It suits a wide range of ages and fitness levels.
Who will I see for FST?
Christy Thackeray, a Kinesiologist and certified FST practitioner.
